The Peak

The Peak is a six-storey mixed-use mid-rise building built to Passive House specification—the highest achievable standard for air quality and energy efficiency. Specifically, Passive House enables homeowners to maintain a consistent, comfortable indoor temperature while using 90-percent less energy than the average building. This type of build requires careful consideration of BC Energy Step Codes, which has been a primary focus in Vancouver’s net-zero initiatives.

Working with Edge Construction, we supplied and installed all electrical requirements across 55,362 square-foot of buildable space. Of the building’s wood frame construction, the first floor—allocated for five commercial units—has a sealed concrete envelope that enables the accolade of LEED Gold certification.
